Ask Moore Terms of Use
Effective date: 23 July 2026
These Terms apply to your use of Ask Moore and related services provided by Moore Consultancy (“Moore Consultancy”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By purchasing a membership or using Ask Moore, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Ask Moore
Ask Moore is an automated information service developed from practical freight-forwarding and logistics knowledge.
It provides general information and operational guidance concerning topics such as freight forwarding, Customs processes, Incoterms, Dangerous Goods, CargoWise and shipping documentation.
Ask Moore does not replace a licensed customs broker, lawyer, government authority, carrier, Dangerous Goods specialist or other qualified professional.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure.
Your membership is for your individual use unless your selected plan expressly permits multiple users. You must not share, sell, transfer or publish your account access.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Paid memberships are billed at the price and frequency displayed during checkout.
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel through your Squarespace customer account. Cancellation stops future renewals, but access ordinarily continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
Except where required by the Australian Consumer Law, payments already processed are not refundable merely because you changed your mind or did not use the service.
We may change prices for future billing periods by giving reasonable notice. Any founding-member pricing promise displayed when you joined will be honoured according to its stated conditions.
4. Beta service
Ask Moore may initially be supplied as a beta service.
During the beta, features, content and availability may change as we test and improve the service. Errors, interruptions and incomplete answers may occur.
Please report questionable answers or technical problems to [SUPPORT EMAIL].
5. Fair use
Your membership is subject to reasonable personal or internal-business use.
You must not:
use automated tools to generate excessive requests;
scrape, copy or systematically extract Ask Moore’s content;
share access with unauthorised users;
reverse engineer or attempt to reproduce the service;
use the service unlawfully or to harm another person;
upload malicious files or code;
attempt to bypass security, payment or usage restrictions; or
use Ask Moore to develop or train a competing product or service.
We may temporarily restrict unusually heavy usage, investigate suspected abuse or offer a different plan where usage materially exceeds ordinary use.
6. Accuracy and professional verification
Freight, Customs, biosecurity, sanctions, transport and Dangerous Goods requirements can change and may depend on facts Ask Moore has not been given.
You must independently verify information before acting on it, particularly where a decision may affect:
legal or regulatory compliance;
tariff classification or duty;
Customs or biosecurity clearance;
Dangerous Goods classification, packing or transport;
permits, licences or government approvals;
contracts, insurance or financial commitments; or
the safety of people, cargo or property.
Ask Moore may ask questions or identify possible issues, but it does not approve shipments, guarantee clearance or certify compliance.
7. Your information and documents
You are responsible for the information and documents you submit.
Do not upload information unless you are authorised to use and disclose it. Avoid submitting passwords, payment-card details, health information, identity documents, trade secrets or unnecessary personal information.
You grant us and our service providers permission to process submitted material only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and improve the service.
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
Ask Moore, its branding, templates, prompts, written material, design and original content remain the property of Moore Consultancy or its licensors.
We grant active members a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and supplied templates for their own lawful personal or internal-business purposes.
You retain ownership of material you submit.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may maintain, update, suspend or change Ask Moore where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, performance or service improvement.
10. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, fail to pay applicable fees or create a security, legal or operational risk.
Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law, Moore Consultancy is not responsible for loss caused by:
reliance on information that should reasonably have been professionally verified;
inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by a user;
actions of carriers, authorities, brokers or other third parties;
service interruptions outside our reasonable control; or
unauthorised or prohibited use of Ask Moore.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change.
The current version will be published on our website with its effective date. If a material change affects an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable notice.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable laws of the state or territory in which Moore Consultancy operates.
